Giordano Bruno (1548–1600) is one of the great figures of early modern Europe, and one of the least understood. Ingrid D. Rowland’s biography establishes him once and for all as a peer of Erasmus, Shakespeare, and Galileo—a thinker whose vision of the world prefigures ours. Full text of ten books by 16th century Italian Philosopher Giordano Bruno. Bruno was one of the most original and colorful thinkers of the Renaissance. The Inquisition considered him a dangerous heretic, and had him burned at the stake in 1600.

He also believed in an infinite universe with numerous inhabited worlds. Asked by the Inquisition to recant his beliefs, Bruno refused. Giordano Bruno Giordano Bruno (1548-1600) Filósofo italiano de la época del Renacimiento, predicador de la concepción moderna del mundo, combatiente infatigable contra la iglesia, la escolástica y el oscurantismo clerical. Bruno fue muerto en la hoguera por la inquisición en Roma.
